The prices for Katie Price's panto have been reduced just days into its run.

The former glamour model, 45, is currently starring in Sleeping Beauty but has faced harsh criticism from her co-stars and some audience members due to her "embarrassing" performance. Katie is reportedly being paid a whopping £60,000 for her stint as The Wicked Fairy Carabosse in the show.

Her co-star Bippo recently joked Katie only learnt "two of her 25 lines" for the performance. M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, where Sleeping Beauty is being performed, have since slashed its ticket prices for the panto by 25 percent. In a post on its official Facebook page, organisers said: "Calling all fairy tale fans!

"Sleeping Beauty has awakened at the M&S Bank Arena, and she's spinning a magical Christmas adventure for the whole family! For a limited time, get 25% off selected shows. Book your tickets now and escape into a world where dreams come true (and curses get broken by true love's kiss!)." The show kicked off last Saturday and runs until December 30.

It comes after some theatre-goers dubbed Katie's performance as an "absolute disgrace". A video that was posted of her dancing out of time for the opening night garnered harsh comments from fans. One person said: "Maybe, just maybe Katie Price could learn the routines. She was an absolute disgrace. Clear to see how hard the other cast members have worked .. very clear she thinks she can rock up making zero effort!!!"

Another person wrote: "Lol you hardly had any words, did no rehearsing and Bippo acted you off the stage. Good work you can’t sing or act - your family must be so embarrassed." However Katie has been defended by her fans as one said: “Maybe the nasties could have a day off, its nearly Christmas ffs.." And another wrote: “You were fab,we loved it. Totally confident and funny as!"

Katie has even confessed she may not have learnt many of her lines for the panto. Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show about the show's songs with her sister Sophie, Katie admitted that she's not a fan of the music. She said: "I'm not from the West End, right, and these songs aren't singing, they're more like talking. I don't know how to learn it. It's not even the kind of music I would listen to." Sophie then burst into laughter as she revealed theatre bosses had given Katie songs suitable for her vocal ability.

The mum-of-five has been able to brush off critics as she enjoys the festive season in Liverpool. She recently donned her full Carabosse costume as she paid a visit to Alder Hey Children's Hospital with her panto co-stars. Katie has also been joined in the city by her on-off boyfriend Carl Woods, who has been supporting her panto performances.
