Kerry Katona, the TV personality and former Atomic Kitten singer, left her social media followers in stitches when she shared a funny video of herself having to wee on the side of the motorway.

Joined by her daughters Heidi and Lilly, Kerry found herself stuck in a traffic jam on the M56 and with no other option but to use the road as a loo. She was due to be on stage for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the pantomime she's starring in this festive season, at 2pm, but admitted that she was unlikely to make it due to the traffic.

The mum-of-five confessed to her 826,000 followers that she was desperate for a wee and hilariously uploaded a clip of her attempt to Instagram. In the video, she can be heard asking: "Can anyone see me?!" while one of her daughters urges her to hurry up and the other asks incredulously: "Are you actually peeing?!" Despite the urgency, Kerry admitted she was struggling with stage fright and asked her girls: "Can people see my bum and everything?!"

Writing over the video, Kerry commented: "This is what it's come to." She also shared a caption along with the same clip saying, "This is what it's come too!!! Stuck on the M56 trying to get to Panto!! when you gotta go, you gotta go but for the record I got stage fright!!" She continued, "Still really need to pee!! And we've still not moved!!!!!!! This just a little giggle video!!! I did actually have a wee!!!!! Get off your high horse people excuse the pun!!!!!!"

Later on, she clarified in her Story, "Just to clear, I didn't actually have a wee." Her daughter Lilly, who is also in the festive panto with her, interjected: "Not from lack of trying though!"

Kerry then defended herself by adding: "But I'm not being funny if you're stuck in a traffic jam like this and you've got to go, you've got to bloody go!"

This isn't Kerry's first time performing with Lilly, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian McFadden. The mother-daughter duo previously acted in Cinderella last year. They both played the Ugly Sisters in this classic story adaptation for pantomime.

Kerry also has an older daughter Molly with singer Brian McFadden from Westlife, who she was married to between 2002-2006. She also has Heidi and Max from her marriage with taxi driver Mark Croft, and she shares DJ with her late husband George Kay.
