Katie Price's co-star says she's learnt ‘two of her twenty five lines' for panto

Katie Price has been ribbed by her Sleeping Beauty pantomime co-star for only learning "two of her 25 lines."

The 45 year old former glamour model is starring as Maleficent in the legendary fairy tale at the M&S Arena in Liverpool, but it does not appear that she has taken her festive role seriously. To make matters worse, the mum of five has been paid a whopping £60,000 for her role. Her co-star Bippo, dressed in a pink and yellow patterned shirt teamed with a pink headband, exposed her faux pas when speaking to the camera as he warmed up the crowd.

He said: "This is the show starring Katie Price, she's amazing" She's actually learned two of her 25 lines - it's fantastic," before breaking into laughter. In an attempt to make sure his comment was seen as banter, he added: "I'm joking, you'll see her. She is absolutely amazing."

But it seems his comments may actually hold a bit of weight as Katie has admitted to not remembering her lines for the panto show when speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show. Speaking about the show's songs with her sister Sophie, Katie admitted that she's not a fan of the music.

She said: "I'm not from the West End, right, and these songs aren't singing, they're more like talking.I don't know how to learn it. It's not even the kind of music I would listen to." Sophie then burst into laughter as she revealed theatre bosses had given Katie songs suitable for her vocal ability.

This came after theatre-goers dubbed her performance as an "absolute disgrace" and claimed her family should feel "embarrassed." A video that was posted of her dancing out of time for the opening night garnered harsh comments from fans.

One person said: "Maybe, just maybe Katie Price could learn the routines. She was an absolute disgrace. Clear to see how hard the other cast members have worked .. very clear she thinks she can rock up making zero effort!!!" Another person wrote: "Lol you hardly had any words, did no rehearsing and Bippo acted you off the stage. Good work you can’t sing or act - your family must be so embarrassed."

Earlier this week, it has been reported that Katie has now been tipped to return to ITV I'm A Celebrity Get Out Of Here for the All Stars series. The star's notoriety reached dizzy heights when she appeared on the show back in 2004. Viewers saw her blossom as she formed a romantic connection with Aussie singer Peter Andre. The couple hit it off straight away and went on to tie the knot, becoming a power couple at the time. They share two children together, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16.

The spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity: South Africa, is set to return in 2024 - with the pre-recorded show seeing celebs return to a camp to try to win the jungle crown. However, unlike the series viewers are used to, the viewing public are not allowed to vote as the series is filmed before it airs and doesn’t include a public vote.
