Strictly's Ellie in tears as she reunites with Vito ahead of 'statement' to fans
Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach got emotional as she paid tribute to her dance partner Vito Coppola.
The two, who are taking part in the Live tour, delighted viewers when they were announced winners of this year's competition, beating Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Dianne Buswell and Bobby Brazier. And now, Coronation Street star Ellie appeared on the iPlayer Instagram account to talk about how Vito 'changed her life'.
She said: "He has changed my life," while tearing up. "I don't think that words can really describe how much he means to me." Ellie reposted the short clip to her Instagram Stories and jokingly tagged Vito to say: "Don't say I don't compliment you," while adding an eye roll emoji.
He also reposted her Story and captioned it: "My heart is melting." The sweet clip came before Ellie revealed she and Vito are planning to do an Instagram Live at 7 pm on Friday to chat with fans about all things Strictly and Christmas.

In the wake of their victory, Ellie took to social media to declare her love for her dance partner - fuelling rumours of a romance between them even further. Sharing a snap of them lifting the trophy, Ellie wrote: "To the most wonderful partner i could have ever asked for. Words cannot describe how much love and admiration I have for you.

You believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself and you reminded me of the reason I said yes to Strictly, to push myself out of my comfort zone and most importantly to have FUN!
"We’ve laughed uncontrollably, we’ve cried A LOT (mostly me) but most importantly, we’ve been there for each other when we’ve needed it the most and we’ve given our everything every single week. This experience is unlike anything I will ever experience again. We were thrown together as strangers and we will leave with a bond and a friendship that will never be matched."
