Tom Skinner has revealed the unique meal he creates from Christmas Day leftovers - inspired by a dish on the menu at his beloved Dino's Cafe.

The Apprentice star, 32, has forged a career for himself as a bit of a food influencer since rising to fame on the BBC series in 2019, often sharing motivational videos filmed in his local cafe with his social media followers.

In an inspired move, Celebrity MasterChef star Tom has now teamed up with Sainsbury's to help Brits across the country feed their family for less this Christmas - with the dad-of-two even revealing how to make the most of any leftovers from your Christmas Day roast dinner.

"Well, if you've got a little bit of turkey and stuffing leftover - you're going to think I'm mad here - but chuck them in the frying pan the next morning and add a little bit of bacon and chopped tomatoes and fry them all up together," Tom began when exclusively revealing his Boxing Day recipe to the Mirror this week - going on to share the unusual extra he adds that may divide people.

"Then boil your pasta, preferable spaghetti, then you've got a perfect tomato, turkey, bacon and stuffing spaghetti in the morning - it is FANTASTIC," the loveable reality TV star then declared after revealing the recipe's twist. "That's a Dino's Cafe special - everything I've ever learned is from Dino's Cafe."

Tom was speaking with the Mirror as he helped Sainsbury's launch its "Feed Six for Less Than £20' roast dinner campaign, which sees the supermarket giant offer customers the chance to buy a festive roast fit to serve six people and featuring nine Christmas dinner essentials for just £19.41.

This year’s roast offering from Sainsbury's now also has a veggie option, which feeds six for less than £17 with Nectar, with the Plant Pioneers Meat Free Wellington replacing the traditional turkey and vegetarian trimmings. All proceeds from selected Sainsbury’s seasonal vegetables sales donated to the Nourish the Nation programme in partnership with Comic Relief.

"It's been a really tough year for everyone," Tom explained when discussing the Sainsbury's offer earlier this week. "Cost of living crisis and everything you can imagine has gone up - everyone is struggling and having to tighten their belt. But what Sainsburys have done - I'll take my hat off to them - is make [things affordable]."

He continued: "Nearly half of all Brits are trying to swerve hosting Christmas, because their wage is going to be too stretched, but Sainsbury's have done this so you can feed six - and i've cooked it, you can easily feed six for under £20. It works out less than £3 per person - you can all chip in for some good quality food. I was so impressed with the turkey - especially for such a cracking price. Well done to Sainsbury's."

*Tom Skinner is working with Sainsbury’s to launch its feed six for less than £20 roast this Christmas, at £2.85 per person. A vegetarian roast is also available for less than £17. Both can be purchased in store and online until 24th December with Nectar Prices.
