Laura Anderson clears up Gary Lucy romance rumours before baby's first Christmas
Laura Anderson has set the record straight amid rumours that she and her ex-partner, Gary Lucy has rekindled their romance.
In recent weeks, fans of the on-off couple have been begging the pair to get back together following the birth of their daughter Bonnie, who Laura welcomed earlier this year. The Scottish beauty, who first shot to fame on Love Island back in 2018, fell head over heels for EastEnders actor Gary, 42, when they both appeared on E4's Celebs Go Dating last year.
After falling pregnant with Gary's child, Laura, 34, decided to call it quits on her romance with the former soap star during her pregnancy, but the pair still remain close friends and are looking forward to their first Christmas with daughter Bonnie.

Laura has no plans to rekindle her romance with Gary (lauraanderson1x/Instagram)Amid pressure from her huge fanbase to get back with Gary following their split earlier this year, Laura has insisted that her main priority right now is her baby daughter, and she is putting her needs and wants in second place in a bid to be the best mother she can be to Bonnie. While she remains on good terms with Gary, and tries to include him as much as she can in her and their daughter's life, Laura's main focus is Bonnie from now on.
Speaking to Closer, the reality TV star explained: "Myself and Gary are on good terms. It's early days but I'm trying to focus on her, rather than myself. I think putting your personal feelings aside and speaking to the person as a friend rather than your ex helps. It's going to be a journey as she's only a baby and this is all new to me, but I try to include Gary as much as I can. She has two parents and I want her to know that I always put her first."

Ahead of Christmas Day, Laura also revealed that baby Bonnie will more than likely enjoy 'two or three' Christmas days given that her and Gary live so far apart from one another. While Laura is based in Glasgow, Gary lives in Essex, so the former Love Island star intends on doing a lot of driving this Christmas so that her baby girl can spend time with both sides of her family.
"I think Bonnie will end up having two or three Christmas Days this year and I'll be doing a lot of driving so there won't be much champagne for me this year," Laura admitted. I want to take her around and make sure everyone gets to see her."
It comes after Laura recently revealed that she and Gary agreed to give things another go shortly before welcoming their daughter Bonnie into the world in September. Speaking about whether she will be getting back together with Gary, who was by her side during her labour, Laura said: "Well, we did try before the birth, but it’s just not really worked out so far."
She continued: "When we first got together and decided to have a baby – because Bonnie was planned – it was what I wanted. But it’s quite common for parents not to be together for whatever reason. And I’ve found a community, connecting with a lot of women on Instagram who’ve reached out to me and said that seeing me manage on my own has made them feel that they can do it too," reports OK! magazine.
