Tina Kubinska Slott, 42, fell madly in love with Kasper Borum, 24, when they matched on Tinder, and although people assume she's his mum - they couldn't be happier.

The mum-of-two from Copenhagen in Denmark says there is stigma attached to older women who date younger men, but that she couldn't be happier to be with someone who is 18 years her junior. Tina, who often shares snippets from their life on social media, has now encouraged others to keep looking for love until they find it - and not to listen to others opinions.

Tina, who was often told she had "too high" expectations in men, said she is living proof you shouldn't "settle for less" than you deserve. She then shared a video compilation of Kasper, who is from Aarhus in Denmark, doing various acts of service - from buying her flowers to cooking.

Meanwhile, Kasper has shared videos where he claims people tell them people who are "42 and 24 can't find love in each other" - but he knows "age is just a number". While they have had their fair share of nasty comments, their followers made it clear that he worships the ground she walks on.

One person wrote on Tina's video: "Awww! You found a diamond," while another said: "Get it girl, I love this for you." Meanwhile, Tina agreed, saying she'd really hit the jackpot.

Others were less kind, hitting out at the couple's age difference. One person wrote: "You look at lot older than him. Like his mum." Tina hit back, saying: "Who asked you? Of course I look older!".

Speaking to Newsweek, Kasper, who is an office worker, said that people assume he has "mummy issues" or that their relationship is "transactional" - but that's not the case. Tina explained that they split the bill most of the time, but she does treat her boyfriend every other month.

She told the publication: "Kasper hasn't got the same amount of money as me because he is a finance student. But I like to go out for nice food so sometimes I will pay a little more. I don't mind at all."

Meanwhile, Kasper added: "Most people think I'm in this relationship for money. But that isn't true. I can pay for myself, and if someone pays for me I do feel bad about it."

Tina and Kasper met in 2018 after she divorced her ex husband and joined the dating app Tinder. The mum received "lots of offers" from younger men", and initially started speaking to Kasper as "a bit of fun".

However, when she realised they had "so much in common", such as their sense of humour and going to the gym, they decided to take things further. Tina added: "My main concern was my children as my daughter is only eight years younger than him. But she thinks it is cool and likes that he is young as he can relate to a lot of things."
