England football legends Jill Scott and Mary Earps proved that they are not just talented on the pitch, but that they also have footwork skills when it comes to dancing.

The two Lioness favourites delighted fans as they reunited on the red carpet at Tuesday night's prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards where they showed off their dance moves in a now viral TikTok which has delighted fans across the UK.

Arriving at the annual event at MediaCityUK in Salford, the pair looked sensational as they posed for photographs together on the red carpet. Former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill, 36, oozed glamour in a striking ensemble which consisted of a sequin gold top with feathered sleeves and pale blue fitted trousers.

Meanwhile, Mary, 30, ensured that her outfit turned heads on the red carpet as she modelled a risqué black lace corset with daring cut-outs. Mary paired the eye-catching top with some wide-leg black trousers and styled her blonde locks in loose curls.

Clearly delighted to have been reunited on the red carpet, Jill and Mary goofed around as they danced and jokingly pushed one another out of the camera frame in the video which was shared on the Lionesses official TikTok page. Both sports stars laughed and smiled as they threw their arms around one another before Jill lovingly gestured towards Mary, who won this year's Sports Personality of the Year Award.

"Jill and Mary are giving drunk aunties at a family wedding," someone else quipped, while another social media user added: "Jill Scott is a national treasure omg. Love her so much and that outfit.... Need it in my life."

It comes after BBC viewers complained moments into the Sports Personality of the Year awards on Tuesday night over a huge change. The BBC aired a special show, with some of the coveted awards being given out including World Sport Star of the Year, Helen Rollason Award, Young Sports Personality of the Year, Unsung Hero as well as Coach of the Year, Team of the Year and Lifetime Achievement award. The big one - Sports Personality of the Year - was awarded after a public vote.

Cricketer Stuart Broad, horse racing legend Frankie Dettori and England's goalkeeper Mary Earps all went against wheelchair tennis star Alfie Hewett, athletics star Katarina Johnson-Thompson and golfer Rory Mcllroy for the coveted prize. As the show kicked off last night, fans took to social media to fume over the change. This year, the awards aired on a Tuesday evening but in the past, they have aired on a Sunday evening on the BBC.

"Still battling to get used to #SPOTY on a Tuesday," one fan wrote, whilst a second added: "Remember when #spoty used to be good…on a Sunday night, a celebration of @BBCSport." Other viewers were puzzled by the beginning sequence, and why there was a performance from Pete Tong, who performed Fatboy Slim’s Right Here, Right Now whilst a sports montage was shown.

Another viewer shared: "Three minutes into #spoty and it's focused on pop music already," with a fourth writing: "Are we meant to know who the #DJ is on #SPOTY ? I haven't a clue!" A fifth added: "Wednesday night #SPOTY just isn't as good as Sunday night."

Other fans were puzzled on why there were four presenters, as Gabby Logan, Alex Scott, Gary Lineker and Clare Balding all took to the stage ahead of the big awards show, which aired for two hours. "Do they really need 4 presenters? #SPOTY," one wrote, with another adding: "Does #Spoty really need four presenters? I seem to remember Des Lynam hosting the whole thing himself."
