With Christmas around the corner, TV and streaming platforms are chock full of festive films and shows to see you through to the new year. But Christmas aside, there’s loads of other top not-so-Christmassy content launching in December.

Once the festive dust has settled, a brand-new original series will take audiences back to the world of Pokémon. Launching later this month, Pokémon Concierge is billed as a “delightful [and] ambitious stop-motion” series that takes place in a peaceful island resort for Pokémon where the guests can roam freely and live in harmony with the resort staff.

The series is a collaborative project from The Pokémon Company and critically acclaimed Japanese animators dwarf studios. It forms part of the long-running and ever-expanding Pokémon franchise that kicked off almost 30 years ago with the original 1996 Game Boy game and is thought to be the highest grossing media franchise of all time.

How to watch Pokémon Concierge with a money-saving deal

Pokémon Concierge will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix around the world. This means that to watch Pokémon Concierge, viewers will need a subscription to Netflix, which usually costs £10.99 a month for the streamer’s Standard plan and £17.99 a month for its Premium plan.

But savvy shoppers can currently get Netflix for free as part of a bargain deal that also includes Sky TV. Sky is offering this amazing entertainment bundle with Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix for £26 a month that saves almost £90 and gives access to premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries.

What’s more, members can stream the biggest new films and shows on Netflix such as Squid Game: The Challenge, The Crown, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and Zack Snyder’s space epic Rebel Moon. Film fans can even add Sky Cinema to this bundle for an extra £11 and also get Paramount+ included at no extra cost, saving a further £125.

A Sky Cinema membership also comes with two free Vue cinema tickets every month. Those looking to upgrade their broadband can also add Sky’s Superfast broadband with 35Mb/s for an extra £13 a month.

Netflix is also included with Virgin Media alongside ultra-fast broadband and a bevy of premium TV channels. Virgin is offering its packed Mega Volt bundle for £85 a month, which includes 516MB/s broadband and an O2 mobile SIM with unlimited calls, texts and 5G data.
