Diablo 4 players with an Amazon Prime subscription can now coat themselves in a new deathly style, courtesy of a new claimable in-game reward.

The festive fun is currently well underway within Activision Blizzard’s appropriately hellish RPG in the form of Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight, a limited-time seasonal event that has seen the Fractured Peaks region of Sanctuary’s map coated in a deathly frost. Players wanting yet another excuse to keep slashing away at monsters now have it, though, courtesy of December’s Diablo 4 Prime Gaming reward. In this instance it comes in the form of what’s called the Death's Burden Bundle Mount.

The Death's Burden Bundle Mount is available to claim now providing you own Diablo 4 on console or PC and are an active subscriber to Amazon Prime. Usually you’d be expected to pay 800 Platinum within Diablo 4’s in-game shop to purchase this bundle, so it’s probably worth claiming while it’s available and before the Prime Gaming offer goes away.

For those unaware, Prime Gaming is a service run by Amazon that gifts subscribers access to a free gamut of PC games. The Prime Gaming December 2023 lineup, for instance, generously has treated players to Deathloop via the Epic Games Store, while lesser known titles like Asteroids: Recharged and A Tiny Sticker Tale will gradually be made available as the month of December rolls on. Prime Gaming also offers redeemable items for select games, too, with this month’s Diablo 4 Prime Gaming reward, the Death's Burden Bundle Mount, being the latest for Activison's game.

Diablo 4 Prime Gaming reward: how to claim the Death's Burden Bundle Mount

To claim this month’s Diablo 4 Prime Gaming reward, you need to head over to the official Prime Gaming home page and then find the Diablo 4 section. Make sure you’re logged into your Amazon Prime account, then simply hit the 'Claim' button when you find the Death's Burden Bundle Mount. If you’ve ensured that your Amazon Prime and Diablo 4 accounts are linked, then you can expect the reward to show up the next time you log into Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Prime Gaming reward: what’s included with the Death's Burden Bundle Mount

The Death's Burden Bundle Mount consists of three unique pieces, all of which can be swapped in and out to make your horse mount look unique. It consists of the following:

  • Bonemail mount armour
  • Morgan’s Cage trophy
  • Mort trophy

The Death's Burden Bundle Mount is available to claim for Amazon Prime subscribers from now up until January 18, 2024. That means you have plenty of time to get your hands on this Diablo 4 goodie, until the next Prime Gaming reward for the game enters the fold. We’d say do it now rather than later, however, just to avoid disappointment.
