“It has a USB connection hidden inside the front pocket and you simply plug it in to a powerbank. Any will do the job and I already had a Goodmans one, but if you don't have one, these are also on the website for £14.

“They cost just pennies to charge and you get hours from one that's fully charged - enough to see me through the whole day while working from home and sitting at my desk.”

Emma has suffered with back pain in the past - particularly in the cold - and said the heat from the lower back pad even helped soothe the area as an added bonus. She added: “As soon as it's plugged in you begin to feel the elements heating up inside it and there are heated pads all over this thing - on the shoulders, at the lower back and behind the front pocket.

“There are three heat settings to choose from too. You just press the power button on the front pocket to change it from the lowest 'green' temperature, to medium 'blue' up to the highest 'red'.

“If you get too warm, which has happened on a couple of occasions, you can just use the hoodie on its own without any heat setting at all.”

What’s more is that it’s machine washable - you just have to remember to remove the powerbank when you do. There's a blush pink one for the same price, or you can get it in black or navy for £23. Emma added: “They've but I doubt it will stay that way for long.”
