Kerry Katona's house won't be so full this Christmas as her two eldest children won't be there.

The singer and television presenter has revealed that the festive day is set to be extremely different due to work schedules and one daughter visiting her dad, Brian McFadden for lunch. Kerry, 43, shares her eldest daughters, Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, with the former Westlife singer after they called time on their marriage in 2006.

But it will only be the latter who will be spending the day with Brian and his new family, as his parents will be in town from Ireland to see their loved ones. But Kerry admits that not having all of her children around her on the day makes her feel down.

Writing in her OK! Magazine column, the former Atomic Kitten songstress penned: " Christmas this year is a little bit different because Molly and Lilly won't be with me for dinner. When we're not all together, it does get me down a little bit, but I am still looking forward to it." This year, Molly will be working on Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, Lilly-Sue will be waking up in Kerry's home before travelling an hour to spend lunchtime with Brian and his partner, Danielle Parkinson. But, her home won't be too empty as she will be joined by her three children, Heidi, 16, Max, and DJ, nine, and her fiané Ryan.

But when Lilly-Sue arrives home after dinner, she will also be joined by her boyfriend as the Katona family comes together in the evening. However, Kerry also reveals that she wishes she and Brian had remained civil following their divorce, primarily for the Christmas period.

The star admits not remaining civil enough to be in the same room as her ex-husband remains her "biggest regret". "There's no animosity from my end, but we just never did that. If you can, remain friends for your children's sake," she commented. Kerry and Brian's fairytale marriage came to an end after he demanded a divorce following a fling with a stripper.

Speaking to Ellie McKay's podcast, Kerry revealed Brian went missing for three days and she felt something was wrong. She said: "I remember I was doing a TV show called With a Little Help from My Friends and I was in England. Normally when me and Brian were away from each other we call each other 17 times a day." Kerry late went on to say after three days, Brian called and said: "I want a divorce."
