Reality TV star Ferne McCann has opened up on her plans for daughter Finty's first Christmas, as she revealed the tiny tot 'completes' her blended family with fiancé Lorri Haines.

Ferne, who stars in First Time Mum on ITVBe, gave birth to daughter Finty who she shares with fiancé Lorri. The former TOWIE star also has daughter Sunday and Lorri has a son from a previous relationship, completing the blended family. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Ferne opened up: "I'm so looking forward to having Finty's first Christmas. I just think having her with us and just the fact that we've got a little baby makes it so special.

"Christmas time and having children the age that Sunday is at six and just seeing the magic through her eyes - especially since we've been doing the elf on the shelf in December and she's just so excited. like she's been able to properly write out her Christmas list to Santa this year and it's just been so, so lovely."

The star, who is fronting a campaign for One4All Gift Cards, explained: "For me Christmas is all about food, family and that's it. I really like to get in together and keep it really chill and cosy and for me Christmas is a real break. Everyone just sort of stops and I'm really looking forward to that."

She also revealed that she's baffled partner Lorri as the couple look to blend their Christmas traditions this year: "I've really had to sort of look a lot into our Christmas traditions and my Christmas tradition that my mum has always done is put a little satsuma in our Santa sack and when I got with Lorri he'd never heard of that and he thought it was really mad. When I said to him last year, 'oh we need to get a satsuma, even if it's an orange or whatever you can pick up' and he was like 'what on earth for?!'"

"It's not until you spend Christmas with others that are not from your immediate family or when you find yourself in a new relationship that you spend it with people that you wouldn't normally spend it with. That's when you actually realise how different and unique everyone's Christmases are, but I think that that can make it really fun because you can incorporate different cultures, different cuisines, and others traditions. I actually really like blending traditions, especially now being in a blended family. I think we're definitely going to do the obvious like it's such a tradition to leave out the the carrot for the reindeer and the mince pie and the milk for Santa. We also normally do like a Christmas walk or a Boxing Day walk or something like that too."

Christmas is also a glam and dressy occasion for the McCann household, and Ferne intends to keep the tradition alive as she revealed: "Lorri just does not have the traditions like me. My mum always used to make me and my sister get dressed before we could open our presents from under the tree. Not the ones from Santa that we would do at like 4am but the presents under the tree. We would have to go and have a shower and get dressed. It would be painful, and we'd be so impatient, but it was worth the wait.

"Our tradition is to glam up and not just be chilling out in our cosies or our comfies. I just feel like it's the one day of the year that you can be head to toe and sequins wearing your slippers but in your front room, it's brilliant."
