Sharon Osbourne says her latest facelift was 'the worst thing I ever did'

Sharon Osbourne has shared her regrets of having a third facelift.

The 71-year-old rock matriarch underwent the extreme plastic surgery procedure in 1987 and 2002, a lower facelift in 2019, with another full lift in 2021. Reflecting on this most recent op, she has revealed she was horrified by the results, which she says left her looking like a mutant.

She explained how it made her look like a "cyclops" as she openly admitted she made a mistake having more work done. The mum-of-three has undergone scores of painful cosmetic operations throughout her adult life, sharing the ups and downs of her relationship with her body and appearance in interviews, her autobiographies and on talk shows. She admits to having her arm, legs and skin on her stomach lifted after weight loss surgery, and having her breast implants removed after one leaked in to her body.

But discussing her facelift issue, she told The Times Magazine: "I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewwhiff, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected."

More recently Sharon worried fans when she she was pictured looking frail, after losing 3 stone using weight loss medication Ozempic. She continued to tell the publication: "Everybody was on it and I thought, ‘Well, I’ll have a bit of that.’ And so this is the outcome.

“It’s been a year in December since I started to diet and I’ve lost 42lb. I can’t seem to put weight back on, which is a luxury, but also it’s like, be careful what you wish for.”

In a recent interview with Woman magazine, she commented: "I've always been anything up to 40 or 50lbs overweight", adding that she would "lose it" and then "put it back on" within a few months, describing the "back and forth" as having been "frustrating."

In 2012 she told her co-hosts on US show The Talk that she was done with plastic surgery. She declared: "No more, because I have been looking at pictures of myself recently since I started to lose weight, and in a lot of shots, my face looks plastic and at certain angles I was like, 'Oh, dear. Oh, I should never have done that. Oh, that's a bad one.' So I'm like, 'No more. No more abuse.'"

But, seven years after her declaration, in 2019, Sharon debuted the results of a lower facelift, again on The Talk. She said: "It was five weeks today that I had my operation. I had my neck done, my jowls … He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed."
