Film fans can now catch Saltburn at home, as the hotly anticipated film is availably to stream free on streaming platforms. The film generated quite a buzz when it was released last year – in part down to its shocking scenes of upper-class debauchery – but has been snubbed by the Oscars, picking up zero nominations.

Billed as a “beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire,” Saltburn delivers a unique mix of psychological thriller and dark comedy. It follows student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who struggles to find his place at Oxford University.

Oliver soon finds himself drawn into the world of charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten. Alongside Oscar-nominee Keoghan and Euphoria star Elordi, Saltburn also stars Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant and Carey Mulligan.

It is the second feature from Oscar-winning writer-director Emerald Fennell and follows her 2020 debut Promising Young Woman. Fennell is also known as the showrunner of Killing Eve’s second season and for playing Camilla Parker Bowles in the third and fourth seasons of The Crown.

The film boasts Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley as producers under their LuckyChap Entertainment production company. As well as being widely discussed by general audiences, the film has been recognised at the upcoming Golden Globe awards, as Keoghan and Pike have both earned nominations for their performances.

So if you’re keen to find out what all the fuss is about, here’s when Saltburn is released on streaming platforms and how you can watch it for free.
