Ferne McCann’s vicious ex has been moved to a cushy jail just six years after his sickening nightclub acid attack.

Arthur Collins, 31, is in HMP The Mount in Hertfordshire – which prepares inmates for release by teaching them how to be baristas. He was previously in Category A HMP Woodhill, Bucks, after getting 20 years for leaving 16 people with serious burns.

His new jail supplies coffee to trendy Redemption Roasters – and a source said he was moved there as a reward for good behaviour. The insider said: This is a quick turnaround for someone given 20 years to be in such a sedate Category C prison. He will have the opportunity to be involved with making coffee, which is likely to give him a skill on the outside.

“The scheme is aimed at readying people for the outside, which might alarm his victims as he should have 14 years of his sentence left.” The thug was jailed in December 2017. He hurled acid in nightspot Mangle E8 in Dalston, North London, after getting into a fight, then went on the run. In all, 22 people were injured, some temporarily blinded.

Collins, who already had six convictions including one for punching a man in a club, claimed he thought the acid was a rape drug. He was convicted of five counts of GBH and nine of ABH. Reality star and mum-of-two Ferne, 33, was pregnant with her daughter by Collins at the time.
