Ferne McCann shares an update on wedding planning with Lorri Haines and 'bridezilla' fears

Reality TV star Ferne McCann has revealed she and fiancé Lorri Haines haven't got stuck into wedding planning since getting engaged last year.

Yet despite no solid plans, the mum of two has shared that she doesn't want to end up a 'Bridezilla' and might decide to simply elope to Vegas instead. Ferne and Lorri began dating in 2021 and got engaged in summer last year after Lorri popped the question during a holiday to France.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, the First Time Mum star revealed: "We're just enjoying that engagement. We've just had a baby and we want to enjoy the baby. We've also just launched the business and we have our mental health app Shoorah, so we really just want to focus on that."

She continued: "I wouldn't be so stressed, like I would hate to turn into one of those Bridezillas. I really want to be in a place - I mean when is the right time to do anything right? - but I want to be in a really good place where I've got time to just really focus on it."

Ferne and Lorri would also like their wedding to be a family affair with their children involved too. as Ferne explained: "I want my children to be there. I want my children to remember it."

Yet the date isn't set and the reality star hasn't locked in a date yet as she added: "The plans are, it's not even like they've gone on hold because they never really started. But saying that I'll be on Pinterest and Instagram and I'll be like 'right, I want to do it now'.

"I mean you never know you might see us doing like a Kourtney Kardashian and just eloping to Vegas and getting hitched by Elvis who I absolutely love. I'm such a big Elvis fan. So that could be a bit of a vibe."

The comments come as Ferne is gearing up to enjoy her first Christmas with newborn daughter Finty Francis Haines-McCann in July. The reality star is fronting a campaign for One4All Gift Cards and has revealed the family wants to have a laidback festive break this year. She said: "For me Christmas is all about food, family and that's it. I really like to get in together and keep it really chill and cosy and for me Christmas is a real break. Everyone just sort of stops and I'm really looking forward to that."
