Tom Parker's widow Kelsey announces split from boyfriend after five months

Kelsey Parker has confirmed she's split from her boyfriend, saying: "Hopefully one day I will find love again."

The mum-of-two was left heartbroken after her husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker, tragically passed away from brain cancer aged just 33 in March last year. She found love again with electrician Sean Boggans eight months after her late husband's death.

However, they split after five months as she struggled with the one-year anniversary of Tom's death. In September, it seemed they had rekindled their romance after meeting at a friend's wedding in south London - with Kelsey saying Sean had given her a "new lease of life".

But now Kelsey, who has children Aurelia, four, and three year old son Bodhi with her late husband Tom, has confirmed on social media that she is no longer in a relationship. Answering a fan's question in her Instagram stories, she said: "We're not together anymore. It's a shame it didn't work out as he's a really amazing person, but it just wasn't right. Hopefully one day I will find love again."

In September, Kelsey opened up on her now ex-boyfriend's prison history after it emerged Sean was jailed in 2013 for killing a man with a single punch. He had got into a fight and punched Shaun McDermott outside a pub in Romford, Essex.

Shaun tragically lost his life as a result of the attack and Sean served four years behind bars when found guilty of manslaughter.

In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Kelsey shared: "Everyone has a past and Sean has a lot of remorse for what happened. That's his journey. Sean has kids now, his life has moved forward. It was the biggest mistake he's made and he's paid the price."

The mum-of-two then addressed the "trolling" she often faces due to her relationship with Sean. She revealed on Loose Women while discussing her new book, With And Without You: "I just think that it was really tough for me...and I just wanted to say to people, 'It's ok for me to be happy and please don't judge me because I've really been through it and I don't need the judgement'."

She also added: "Can I see a future with Sean? Who knows what the future holds. I'm living in the now and the present, and it's going really well."

Kelsey advised the online trolls to spend some time offline with their family and stop trolling. Earlier this month, Kelsey shared how difficult it was for her to prepare for her second Christmas without Tom, saying that her 'Christmas spirit had been sucked out of her'.
