Danielle Harold gushes over I'm A Celeb 'gentlemen' - not including Pete Wicks

Danielle Harold praised four "gentlemen" as she enjoys life outside of the I'm A Celebrity jungle – but she didn't seem to mention Pete Wicks.

The EastEnders actress gushed over co-stars Fred Sirieix, Frankie Dettori, Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes in a new post on Instagram, posing for a snap after leaving the popular ITV programme. She was all-smiles alongside her fellow contestants, seemingly missing out the new King of the Jungle Sam Thompson.

Writing alongside the picture posted on Instagram, Danielle penned: "The word gentleman doesn't even cut it for this lot. @fred_sirieix @frankiedettori_ @nickpickardofficial @marvinhumes." The group appeared to be enjoying each other's company, enjoying a lavish day trip, with former TOWIE star Pete nowhere to be seen.

Pete, who had an emotional reunion with best pal Sam in the jungle, was previously seen with Danielle as they joined other stars for an event at Cali Beach. The pair were seen getting close, with onlookers describing the two stars as "incredibly cosy" with lots of cuddling as they "acted like a couple".

A source told The Sun: "Danielle and Pete were incredibly cosy. They were cuddling a lot and were very tactile. They acted like a couple." The pair were also seen playing around with the onlooker adding that Danielle "jumped" on Pete's back at one point and they posed for pictures together.

"Pete was also seen making friends with Danielle's family at the hotel as her mum Lisa Marie and stepdad supported her in the jungle before she was eliminated. When asked about her relationship with him, Danielle simply said: "I know Pete from outside. Me and Sam are incredibly close and I said to him that Pete and my mum were going to get on like an absolute house on fire."

Danielle's friendship with campmate and Made In Chelsea star Sam is something she's been vocal about since leaving the jungle. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, she said: "Sam was the first person that I spotted in the helicopter place when we did the tower trial [Pole Position] at the beginning and we just clicked instantly.

"Sam is just my new brother. He is only calm when he's sleeping. He has a little cheeky nap. We laugh, I say oh you’re at 80 percent and then he’s like NAP and then ten minutes later he’s charged up to 100 percent and then he’s like a little bunny rabbit running around."

She added: "He’s a superstar, if you’re dipping you haven’t got a choice, he’s there for you just charging you up again. He’s a superduper bloke. You don't go in thinking you'll be making crazy friendships and I truly have made friends with everyone in there to have 12 best mates. It's just incredible."
