Sweet time Kate snuck in to visit a massive TV show with Louis and Charlotte
It turns out that like millions of other people around the country, Kate, 41, tunes in every weekend to watch Strictly Come Dancing, and she is such a big fan that she was reportedly invited to set for a secret visit this year, along with two of her children: Princess Charlotte, aged eight, and Prince Louis, aged five.
Her husband, William, first revealed her fondness for the television program, which sees celebrities and professional dancers face off in the competition each week, back in 2019 when he met the host of the show - Claudia Winkleman - at a charity event he was attending.
He told the much-love Strictly host: "I have watched the show [Strictly] a couple of times. Catherine is a huge fan and my mother-in-law loves it." Now it looks like Kate is not the only royal fan of the hit TV show, with Louis and Charlotte joining their mother for a secret set visit.
As reported in the Sun, the three's visit to the set last week was kept under wraps, with the trip kept tightly under wraps for security reasons and staff were banned from taking photographs of the visiting royals.
The trip was likely to be a big thrill for Princess Charlotte, who the newspaper reported is as big a fan of the dancing competition as her mother. The children were allowed to sit in the judging panel's chairs and even allowed to rate the moves of two of the dancers who are cast members on the show, Katya Jones and Neil Jones.

A source speaking to the newspaper said of the visit: "Kate and Charlotte are huge fans of Strictly so they were delighted to be invited. Kate took pictures of the children in the judges' seats. She seemed really relaxed and was all smiles.
"She was polite, sweet and charming with everyone and made sure Louis didn't get over-excited. There was a strict security lockdown on set and staff were told not to take any photos. The children were especially excited and got dressed up. They were thrilled to be on set and to meet their favourite celebrities."
The royals also got to check out the costume department while they were there, and Louis reportedly opted to try on a gold crown and they met the presenters of the show, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
