Disney star Raven-Symoné's brother dies aged 31 as heartfelt tributes pour in
This week Raven-Symoné revealed the tragic news that her younger brother died at 31 years old after a two-year battle with colon cancer.
The former That's So Raven star's social media has been flooded with love and support from her fans as she grieves the loss of her younger sibling, Blaize Pearman. The 38-year-old star took to Instagram this week sharing the devastating news with her 2.4 million followers as it was the first birthday she has celebrated without him by her side.
The former Cheetah Girls star shared the sad update in a self-recorded video to her followers. In the video, the actress said: "I just want to thank everybody for the amazing birthday wishes yesterday, truly I love you guys. It was a little bittersweet for me to be honest because last month I lost my brother Blaze."

She continued through a cracked voice: "He was battling colon cancer for about two years and he is in a better place now. He is loved and missed. The emotions that have been waving in and out of my body and mind and family have been a rollercoaster but I love you Blaize."

Raven went on to share a heartfelt message to her fans telling them that they have been an incredible support system as she navigates life without him. The star and adorably ended the video throwing up a peace sign and announcing that she has exciting news to share in the New Year.
Fans took to the comments of the vulnerable video, sharing heartfelt loving words of encouragement for the star. One fan commented: "This was really hard to see and hear. My deepest condolences. This one hurt. Sending love and blessings to you and your family."
Another sweetly added: "I am so sorry. There are no words that can ease this kind of pain, but I hope you can find moments of peace and comfort in the weeks and months ahead. You and your family are in my prayers." Even another former Disney star took to the comments, Monique Coleman - who starred as Taylor in High School Musical - sharing love for her fellow actress. She commented: "Oh nooo. So sorry to hear this! Sending you so much love."
