The hotly-anticipated finale of The Crown is just days away, marking the end of six seasons of Netflix ’s flagship royal drama. The latest instalment of Peter Morgan’s hit series has been split into two parts, with episodes one to four available now and episodes five to 10 dropping later this month.

It follows the Royal Family towards the end of the 1990s and explores the period leading up to Diana, Princess of Wales’ death, the immediate aftermath, and its long-term ramifications. According to the official synopsis, the upcoming episodes will see a young Prince William as he tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion.

Elsewhere, as she reaches her Golden Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth II reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate. Season six sees the return of its predecessor’s revered cast returning for the show’s swansong.

It stars Imelda Staunton as the Queen, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana. Joining the cast as the younger royals is Rufus Kampa as Prince William and Fflyn Edwards as Prince Harry.

When is The Crown season 6 part 2 release date and how to watch for free?

The final six episodes of The Crown will be released at 8am on Thursday, December 14. They will be available to stream with a subscription to Netflix, which usually costs £10.99 a month for the streamer’s Standard plan and £17.99 a month for its Premium plan.

As well as the hit royal drama, this gives members access to hit shows like Squid Game: The Challenge, upcoming blockbusters Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon and Ricky Gervais’ latest stand-up special, Armageddon. Savvy shoppers can even get Netflix for free with a deal from Sky that also includes Apple TV+.

Sky is offering an amazing entertainment bundle that includes Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix for £26 a month, with members also able to claim six months of Apple TV+ at no extra cost. This awesome money-saving deal means bargain hunters can save almost £55 and have access to premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries.

What’s more, members can stream the most-talked-about new shows on Netflix and Apple TV+ including Godzilla spin-off Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, season three of Slow Horses and Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ upcoming WWII epic Masters of the Air. Those looking to upgrade their broadband can also add Sky’s Superfast broadband with 35Mb/s for an extra £13 a month.

The bundle also includes an extra add-on free for six months with O2, with members able to choose from Disney+, Amazon Prime, Audible, Cafeyn, Amazon Music Unlimited, McAfee Mobile Security Plus or O2’s International Bolt On.

While this is certainly pricey compared to Sky’s deal, customers are getting loads for their money with TV, broadband and mobile usage included all in one bundle. Those in the market for a new mobile phone can also get Netflix included with at EE when choosing a contract with an inclusive extra. With plans like the All Rounder, Netflix can be added at no extra cost alongside rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Samsung Galaxy S23 and iPhone 15.
