Everton are in the midst of a brilliant run of form at the moment, having won their last three games to move four points clear of the relegation zone.

And Toffees supporter Tony Bellew, who finished runner-up on I'm A Celebrity on Sunday, was delighted when informed of Everton's recent success. During his time in the jungle, the former world champion boxer was unable to follow his beloved Toffees' results.

However, he received an update last week when he was briefly reunited with his wife Rachael following the 3-0 win over Newcastle. In an emotional reunion, Rachael informed him of the result, prompting a surprised Bellew to reply: "Did they really?!"

"Yeah they're out of the relegation zone, Corey told me to tell you that. 3-0 to Newcastle" Rachael explained. "Oh my God, wait 'til I see Ant and Dec," joked Bellew, referencing the fact the show's presenters are Newcastle fans.

Sean Dyche's side then continued their good form with a 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday and Ant and Dec decided to break the news during I'm A Celebrity's live final, with Bellew making the top two alongside Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson who is a Blues supporter.

And after hearing the scoreline, Bellew immediately jumped up to celebrate and yelled: "Yes! Get in there! "Get in there, get in there son. Up the Toffees! That's what it's about, get in there. That's three wins on the bounce!" Thompson, meanwhile, was left with his head in his hands.

Bellew could then be heard shouting: "Gaffer, the treble is still on" in a message to Sean Dyche, with Everton also into the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Everton shared a clip of Bellew's reaction on social media, writing: "Congratulations on being crowned @imacelebrity runner-up, @TonyBellew! Now enjoy sitting back and watching those wins…"

Reflecting on his side's recent form following their win over Chelsea, Sean Dyche said: "There are games we have dominated the chance count and won games and there are games where we haven't and won games, there are games where we have defended resolutely like today, had to fight and work and do the ugly side. That mixture is really important over a season, never more so than recently with the news of the points [deduction] and all that business.

"To find different ways of winning is very pleasing. To find different ways of winning against what will be a top side again, because they have a top manager and some very good players, is very pleasing and under all that is a very firm mentality that is growing all the time - and growing with the supporters.
