Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell seemed to be in good spirits as she danced around in her kitchen just one month before her death at the age of 29.

Mama June has announced the heartbreaking news that Anna died on Saturday after being diagnosed with terminal cancer back in January. Just a few weeks before her death, Anna took to TikTok to share a fun video of herself cooking.

In the clip, she was seen smiling widely and dancing as she showed fans how she makes her spaghetti. Captioning the post, she wrote: "Finally figured out the voiceover. I hope y'all enjoy spaghetti dinner."

In the video, Anna opted for a casual appearance, wearing a black and orange tie-dye T-shirt. Fans have taken to the comments to share how devastated they are after hearing about her death.

"Heart is broken. Praying for your family. R.I.P, sweetheart," one person commented. Another added: "Can’t believe this video was only from last month's rest in paradise," while a third fan commented: "We love youuuu Anna rest peacefully."

Mama June announced her daughter's death on Instagram on Sunday night. Alongside a picture of the family, Mama June said: "With the breaking heart, we are announcing that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM.

"She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months she passed away with her family around her like she won’t and we will be updating y’all with more information as we get it today. We love y’all and continued prayers and thoughts for our family doing this difficult time #mamajune #prayers #cancersucks #family."

Anna was diagnosed with stage four adrenal carcinoma in January, which was discovered after she complained to the doctor about stomach aches. After undergoing tests, doctors discovered the cancer in her liver, kidney and lung.

According to the Mayo Clinic, adrenal cancer is a rare cancer that begins in one or both of the small, triangular glands which are located on top of your kidneys. It can occur at any age.

Anna is survived by her two young daughters, who she shared with Michael Cardwell. Just one day before Anna's death, Mama June took to Instagram to beg fans for prayers as her daughter took a turn for the worse.

Her sister Honey Boo Boo has also took to social media to pay tribute to her sister. "This is one post I wish I didn’t have to make," she began.

Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, added: "Last night we all surrounded Anna with love & let her know it was okay to go. Unfortunately, around 11pm Anna took her last breath. Anna was in so much pain last night but now as a family, we all know she is at peace now.

"I really don’t know what to say as my heart is completely broken. Watching my 29-year-old sister this last year battle this horrible disease hasn’t been easy. Anna was a fighter & still is. Lord please wrap your arms around her 2 babies & our family as the next couple of days will make this all a reality.

"I’m so glad that you waited til i was home to take your last breath! I would’ve loved for you to get to see me graduate college but i know you will forever cheer me on in heaven! We will all make sure your legacy lives on forever. And i promise to always make sure to celebrate our birthday like you never left! The sky looks a little bit different today. We will always love you Anna. You hit me hard with his one Anna but i know your in a better place now and pain free forever!"
