I'm A Celebrity star Nella Rose finally reunites with family after lonely exit

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Nella Rose has finally reunited with her family following the heartbreaking moment she was seen leaving the jungle alone.

Traditionally, those who have been voted off the show are met by a loved one at the elimination bridge, but Nella was forced to pose for pictures alone. However, that has now changed, as the YouTuber posted a video on social media surrounded by two members of her family, including her brother, who travelled Down Under to meet the star.

She said on the clip: "I'm out, I'm in Australia, I'm with my family. Just want to say thank you to everyone that has voted for me." Nella's family were seen behind her in the footage as she spoke on the show's antics.

She added: "Obviously b******t has gone on on social media but I just wanna say that I enjoyed my time in there, I faced my fears, I learned a lot about myself. S**t went down but it is what it is. I'm happy, you don't need to worry about me, I'm enjoying my time here in Australia and I'll see you soon."

The TV personality, 26, caused uproar among fans of the show on the back of her first argument with First Dates star Fred Sirieix. While Fred was cooking a meal for camp, he quipped that he was old enough to be her dad at 51 years old. But Nella misunderstood his comment and believed that he was being "disrespectful" and insensitive as her father passed away.

And this, she has said, is still a "fresh wound." Their heated exchange, which saw Nella brand Fred a 'weirdo', became a nationwide talking point for days. And shortly after the dust settled with Fred, she then locked horns with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage over his stance on Brexit.

Nella accused him of being "anti-immigrants" and asked him, "why don't black people like you?" She later had another clash with Farage over his views on cultural appropriation, which she was praised by fans for. However, until she was voted off the show, making her the second campmate to be evicted, she wasn't aware of the cruel comments on social media.

Faced with all the negative comments as she recuperates in her hotel in Brisbane, the star appears to be brushing off the negativity and told her fans to not worry about her. Appearing on This Morning via video link, she told hosts Rylan Clark and Emma Willis of her fallout with Fred: "It was a big fat misunderstanding. We've gone over it, everything is cool, everything is blessed. I don't know why everyone's still crying about it. In the Jungle, everything is intensified. That subject is very triggering for me because its a fresh wound but everything in the Jungle is intense."

During her time in the jungle, she was voted to be camp leader and, in what looked like revenge for Fred's kitchen antics, she ordered that trained chef Fred could no longer cook for the camp. He was made to go on washing duties instead, which visibly angered him. She declared that it was "karma" for "making her life hell."

When asked by Rylan and Emma the reason behind her decision, she jokingly said: "In the Jungle the little bit of drama that happens is your EastEnders. I stirred the pot to make things fun, it's just who I am." In contrast, Fred had nothing but kind words to say about Nella.

Fred, who was the third campmate to be voted off the show, said of the Nella row: "It was a misunderstanding, the jungle is a pressure cooker." And addressing the cruel negativity she faced online, he added: "I was very surprised of the hate for Nella. It's totally wrong and unfair and it's not in my name. Nella is a lovely girl. Things happen, you move on and I don't know what all the fuss is about."

Despite Nella having to leave the jungle alone, her family had taken to Instagram to show their support. Posting on Nella's account her family shared a snap of her holding a bouquet of flowers. They wrote: "SOO PROUD OF OUR JUNGLE QUEEN. She SMASHED every trial with no doubt. Appreciate all the love and support #TeamNella."

They also shared an image of Nella at the end of the I'm A Celebrity bridge and penned: "SO PROUD OF OUR JUNGLE QUEEN. Sad to see you go Nells but you SMASHED EVERY TRIAL with no doubts. We truly appreciate every single person who voted and supported our Queen. TeamNella4Eva."
