I saved 'hundreds' doing my Christmas shopping at London’s huge designer outlet
Anyone who knows me, knows I love nothing more than scouting out a good bargain - and it seems London’s Designer Outlet at the heart of Wembley Park is the place to go for incredible discounts all-year-round.
With Christmas just around the corner, I headed to the designer outlet fully prepared with my trusty tote bag in hand, in search of some gifts for my family, friends, and of course myself - and let’s just say, I was seriously impressed.
From adidas, Calvin Klein and Marks & Spencer outlets to The Fragrance Shop, Sunglass Hut and Kurt Geiger - there’s over 80 stores to look around in, and with discounts of up to 70% off fashion, beauty and homeware, you can expect to make some huge savings too.
After parking my car in the handy car park situated right next to the outlet, I decided to grab a coffee from Pret for a quick boost of energy before quite literally shopping til’ I dropped.
While I’ve been in my home for a year now, I’m always on the lookout for new pieces to add to my ever-growing kitchenware collection - so I was delighted to stumble across one of my favourite luxury brands Villeroy and Boch as I made my way through the outlet.
Shop prices 'are yet to peak and will remain high' as inflation hits new heightsTo complete the set I already had at home, the first item I purchased was this stunning NewWave Serving Plate that was dropped down to £40 from £77.90 - what a bargain!
Next up, we were in desperate need of some new fancy cutlery - especially seeing as we're hosting Christmas this year - so we couldn’t believe our eyes when we spotted this Voice Basic 30-piece set reduced from £75.50 to £40.30.
Now, when it comes to pyjamas and underwear, you can’t go wrong with Calvin Klein in my opinion - and it’s also the perfect place for Christmas gifts too! I decided to treat myself to these cosy pyjama joggers for winter which were discounted to just £19 down from £65. My fiancé is also a huge fan of their boxer briefs, so picked up a pack of three for £20. They also make for the perfect stocking filler too!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a shopping trip without stocking up on some beauty, so I headed to The Cosmetics Company Store to seek out what goodies they had.
Estée Lauder, Clinique, Tom Ford Beauty, M·A·C, Too Faced and Bobbi Brown were just a few names I spotted inside, with discounts of up to 30% off - so beauty lovers, it’s definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just for this store!
Lastly, my friend is a huge fan of Jo Malone (who isn't) so I managed to pick up her favourite Lime Basil & Mandarin candle for £35 down from £56 - so I'm definitely winning brownie points at our annual Secret Santa dinner.
All in all, I had an incredible experience at London's Designer Outlet and managed to pick up some great Christmas gifts for my friends (and myself). One thing I'd flag is that it's worth comparing prices online too, to make sure you're getting the best deal possible.
Another great place to shop for designer bargains is the O2 Arena. While it may be best known for being one of the biggest concert arenas in the UK, it's also home to over 60 shops, with up to 70 per cent off well-known bands including adidas, Calvin Klein, Sunglass Hut, French Connection, Clarins and more - all under the iconic roof of the O2 in North Greenwich.
