Here's what fragrance shoppers should know ahead of Christmas

Fragrance is one of the most popular gifts to give at Christmas, with sales skyrocketing at high-street retailers. In fact, Boots are predicted to sell more than one bottle every single second throughout this December, which we expect will lead to a lot of happy recipients come the 25th.

While studying at university, I worked at Boots and would often be on hand to assist shoppers looking to purchase perfume or aftershave throughout the year, but Christmas was undoubtedly the busiest time of year, with mums, dads, boyfriends, girlfriends and everyone in between looking to find the perfect scent for their loved one.
