Angelina Jolie says her kids with Brad Pitt are her 'closest' friends amid split
Angelina Jolie has revealed that her kids are her "closest friends," and that she has "no social life."
The 48-year-old spoke openly about her private life and admitted she was at a crossroads in her life following a turbulent few years. Back in 2016, it was announced that she and ex Brad Pitt had split following reports of an alleged altercation onboard a private jet.
Since then, the former couple - who share Maddox, 22, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, Pax, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15 - have been battling it out in court over custody arrangements, as well as a financial agreement.

“They are the closest people to me and my life, and they’re my close friends,” Angelina told the outlet. “We’re seven very different people, which is our strength."
“I don’t really have … a social life,” she admitted, noting that she isn’t dating at the moment either. “I realized my closest friends are refugees. Maybe four out of six of the women that I am close to are from war and conflict.”

"I will move when I can. I grew up in quite a shallow place. Of all the places in the world, Hollywood is not a healthy place. So you seek authenticity,” Angelina admitted.
She also touched on the “healing” she and her family needed to do after the high-profile split from Brad, and said she had taken a step back from her acting career in order to focus on her wellbeing. “We had to heal. There are things we needed to heal from,” she shared.
