Standard hot water bottles are an excellent solution to keeping the cold out this winter, especially as money saving expert Martin Lewis has recommended that we should be 'heating the body not the home' if you want to keep your electricity bills down.

However, the problem lies in when you want to get up and move around while still staying warm - whether that's to take the dog out for a walk, or to get up and make a cup of tea when working from home. Thankfully, Dunelm have a cosy wearable hot water bottle that you can strap around your middle that is "much more convenient than a traditional hot water bottle."

The £15 Faux Fur Hot Water Bottle Belt has been a "game-changer" for those "walking the dog on cold days" as it's "very comfortable" and "stays hot for ages." Some users have pointed out that it's a brilliant buy if you suffer from aches and pains in the colder months, as well as helping "keep warm while working from home and walking round the house without having to stick the heating on."

Available in two different sizes, small and large, it has a soft faux fur cover and a sturdy velcro strap that "holds the piece in place for hours." It only comes in one colourway which is grey, but you can find a fun animal print design alternative at Amazon for £18.99.

It has received an average of 4.7 out of 5 from over 100 reviews with one person saying,: "I always feel the cold! For many years now I have placed a hot water bottle across my back to keep me warm, but trying to keep it in place with a scarf has always been a struggle. I'm over the moon with them and at only £15 each were even more impressed. I can look forward to keeping warm during the winter, especially in the present situation we are al facing regarding heating bills. A brilliant and cheap way to keep warm this winter."

Another added that it helped their period pains and back ache, explaining: "Fully holds a hot water bottle in which ever position you want. Great for period pains and wonderful to relieve back aches. You can move it go the the right spot with ease and its helped me immensely. Top buy this winter!"

You can also keep warm this winter with a long wrap around hot water bottle - this White Ribbed Long Hot Water Bottle has been reduced to £11.20 at Matalan, and Marks and Spencer stock the Silentnight Faux Fur Long Hot Water Bottle in Snow Leopard for £15.
