Miami Dolphins star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, has named his top five wide receivers in the NFL, excluding himself. He picked Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, AJ Brown, and Davante Adams as the best in the game currently.

Hill shared his thoughts on the "RGIII and the Ones" podcast, hosted by ex-NFL QB Robert Griffin III. The former quarterback agreed with Hill's picks, saying: "I feel like a lot of them are underappreciated."

The Dolphins' player explained his choices, saying he picked players who have redefined the position. He also listed his all-time favourite wide receivers.

"I have to go with AB (Antonio Brown). A lot of people may not agree with that, but AB, he was a problem." Hill mentioned Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Steve Largent, and Santana Moss during his all-time discussion. However, some of the most successful receivers in terms of all-time receiving yards, such as Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Issac Bruce, Tim Brown, or Steve Smith Sr, who are all among the top 10 all-time, didn't make his list.

His picks sparked a debate on social media, with NFL fans pointing out notable omissions from his list of the best current wide receivers. Missing names included Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson, Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase, and Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb.

One NFL fan questioned the list, asking: "Is Justin Jefferson dead or something?" Another fan appreciated the inclusion of Evans and responded: "You always see the real players add Mike cause they know ball for real. Fans just love Flash. I am a Falcons fan, but I love seeing Mike get the credit he deserves. The things he is achieving are not easy at all. "

Evans was the seventh pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Apart from his red-shirt season at Texas A&M in 2022, Evans has surpassed 1,000 catching yards for 12 consecutive seasons, with the last ten all being in the NFL. AJ Brown recently set an NFL record for consecutive 125-yard games, showcasing his exceptional performance. His partnership with Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts in the 2023 season has boosted the team to a league-best 10-2 record.

Despite ranking fourth in targets, Adams finds himself twelfth for receptions through 12 weeks. His volume has been lower than last season due to Jakobi Meyers emerging as a reliable No. 2 wide receiver, but he has still maintained high production.

Since 2000, only eight NFL wide receivers have managed to achieve 100 receptions in their 30th year. Diggs has 83 receptions and, with five games left after the bye week, has a chance to join this exclusive group.

Here are Hill's selections compared to himself this season:
