Lego Insiders Fortnite skin – how to claim the free Emilie Lego Fortnite skin

Fortnite is launching a brand new Lego collab later this week, and it's giving players the chance to nab a free Lego Insiders Fortnite skin by linking their account.

Fortnite's The Big Bang live event wasn't just a snazzy way to kick off Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, and herald the arrival of Eminem, Family Guy, and Metal Gear Solid collabs to the game – it was also our first look at the future of Fortnite. We're getting three major new game modes, the music-based Fortnite Festival, a new Rocket Racing mode, and the Lego Fortnite Mode.

Not only is the game adapting hundreds of pre-existing Fortnite skins into Lego Minifigures, which you can get a rundown of in our Fortnite Lego skins roundup, Lego but to celebrate the collab, Lego and Fortnite are giving away a free Lego Insiders Fortnite skin: Explorer Emilie. Not only will you get this for your normal Locker, but you'll also get the Explorer Emilie Minifig Lego Fortnite skin alongside this.

How to claim the free Emilie Lego Fortnite skin

You won't have to jump through 20 hoops or get five Victory Royales in a row to unlock this skin because it's super easy to get a hold of the Lego Insiders Fortnite skin. And, again, it's completely free, you won't need to buy any Lego sets or use V-Bucks to get this Emilie skin. Here's how you can claim the free Lego Fortnite skin:

• Go to the Lego Fortnite website
• Sign up for a Lego Insiders account (or log in if you already have one!)
• Go to the Epic Games Website and log in
• Click your account in the top right of the page and select Account
• Select 'Apps and Accounts' on the menu on the left side of the page
• Look for the box labelled 'Lego Account' and click the 'Connect' button
• You will get a prompt asking you to confirm that you want to link these accounts, select 'Confirm'
  
• Sign in to Fortnite and these items should pop up when you load the game up for you to claim on or after December 7

And it's as easy as that. Some players are reporting that the item isn't showing up for them, that's okay! The items won't arrive in-game until the Fortnite Lego release time hits on Thursday, December 7 so don't panic, the free Emilie skin will be yours! However if you're reading this after the Lego Fortnite launch on December 7, and the Lego Insiders Fortnite Skin isn't showing up in your locker, you'll want to get in touch with Epic Games support.
