Chris Hemsworth looks unrecognisable with huge moustache and bushy beard
Chris Hemsworth left fans confused as he made his debut in the trailer for the new Mad Max movie.
The former Thor star appears as warlord Dementus in the movie, which will follow the origins of Imperator Furiosa, played by Anya Taylor-Joy. The role was previously played by Charlize Theron in the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road.
The 40-year-old appears with long, scraggly shoulder-length hair, a long bushy beard and a huge moustache in the film. In a strange turn of events, Chris also wears a prosthetic nose, leaving him completely unrecognisable from his usual self.

At CCXP in Brazil, where the trailer footage was unveiled, Chris also said: "He has been birthed into a space where it’s kill or be killed. He’s learned to rule with an iron fist. There’s a charisma to him and it’s a very manipulative charisma."

Mad Max is a post-apocalyptic action film series created by George Miller and Byron Kennedy. The story takes place in a desolate Australian wasteland where society is on the brink of war due to a global oil crisis.
The first three movies - Mad Max (1979), Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) - were led by Mel Gibson, before Tom Hardy became the protagonist, Max, in the 2015 film.
