I'm A Celebrity's Ant snaps at Nigel Farage as tempers flare in tense trial

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host Ant McPartlin is seen snapping at Nigel Farage as the stars struggle in tonight's trial.

The 48-year-old presenter, who fronts the show alongside Declan Donnelly, gets frustrated at the ex UKIP leader as he fails to communicate with his campmates during tonight's Grim Gutter Bushtucker Trial. The gruelling challenge sees Nigel, 59, Nella Rose, Nick Pickard, Tony Bellew and Sam Thompson struggle to win stars for camp.

Each of the celebrities are locked in a hole underground with the top of the hole caged over – with holes for their arms to came through as they are tasked to unlock as many stars as possible in each of their containers using colour-coded keys. However, in true I'm A Celebrity style, the campmates are not alone underground as they are joined by snakes and other scary creatures.

The teaser clip from tonight's episode shows each of the celebrities trying the keys in each of their locks before passing them onto their campmates by clipping them onto a line suspended above them. As Tony struggles with a snake crawling over his chest, Hollyoaks actor Nick, 48, is seen waiting for his next set of keys from Nigel.

"Come on Nige," Nick says. "Come on mate. Can I move now?" While Nigel fumbles with a key and struggles to get it clipped onto the line. As hosts Ant and Dec watch on, Ant says: "Nigel's struggling here."

Dec then instructs the disgraced politician: "Click it and take the whole metal thing off". Meanwhile, Tony is still waiting instructions from Nigel and his fellow campmates as he calls out: "Let me know when I can move please guys and when you've undone the food bag."

As Nigel finally geta the hang of the task Dec says: "That's it guys," as Nick quizzes: "Right can I go guys?" And a frustrated Ant snaps at Nigel: "Talk to each other, Nigel can he go?"

"Go, go, go," Nigel replies as he fiddles with other keys and Nick fumes: "Nigel you've got to communicate, mate." It's clear to see tensions are rising amongst the group as Tony is also rushing his fellow campmates. He says: "I've tried all my keys, the green keys. Let's go give me some more keys." And Ant advises him: "If they don't work just put them back on, remember what colours you've used."

Meanwhile the large intruding snake is seen moving in Tony's cage as he says: "Ah this snake's massive I'm gonna end up having a heart attack!" Hollyoaks actor Nick tells Tony: "Wait there" while YouTuber Nella calls out: "You lot, wait" before the clip ends.

Viewers will need to tune into tonight's episode to see how the celebrities get on in the rest of the trial and if they manage to win meals for camp. The campmates are likely hungry after the previous celebrities earned just five stars for camp – which meant a measly meal was in store that night.
