Megan Fox shared that sometimes she needs to show some skin

Megan Fox isn't afraid to show some skin - and sometimes she feels compelled to.

The recently-published author opened up in an interview with Women's Wear Daily where she spoke about her relationship with fashion. She quickly became a sex symbol after starring opposite Shia LaBeouf in Transformers, which she shares left her with pressure to dress a certain way.

"I’ve had a weird relationship with fashion because for so long I was rejecting being famous and rejecting whatever this image was that was sort of hung on me, this person I was supposed to be," she said, "And so for a long time, I ran from fashion and lived in nothing but sweatpants or workout clothes and never wanted to express myself. My expression was blocked in that way for a long time."

Now Megan is having fun with her fashion sense, and listening to her instinct when it tells her to take it all off. "I’m just experimenting now with being in really oversize pieces or being in things that are just not as necessarily revealing. But then there’s a part of me that’s like, ‘no, I need to be naked this day,’” the Jennifer's Body's actress said.

She also admitted in the interview that her flashing some skin sometimes gives people the impression that she's an extrovert - but in reality it couldn't be farther from the truth. "I think a lot of people are under the impression that I like attention, which is hilarious because I’m so tragically introverted," she said.

"I wish I loved attention. I would have the best life. I would have so much fun. I have so many opportunities. I could be doing so many things, but instead, I have crippling anxiety and I never want to leave my house," she added.

The 37-year-old has worn her share of racy outfits recently that have left little to the imagination. In 2021, she attended the MTV Video Music Awards with her beau, musician Machine Gun Kelly, 33. Her outfit was a beige sheer-coloured dress, which she wore over a nude coloured bra and pants.

This summer she also shared a snap on Instagram of herself in a Jean Paul Gaultier dress that was skintight and featured orange stripes.
