A man left chilling clues behind in an Airbnb before he vanished six months ago with his family desperate to find him after he disappeared while on a coffee run..

There has been no trace of Emilio Ghanem, 40, since he vanished while staying at an Airbnb in Moreno Valley, California. His loved ones are growing more concerned. “My biggest fear is that he’s dead right? I mean who just disappears out of thin air?,” his sister, Jenny, said. Police said Emilio went to a local Starbucks in Redland and never returned.

This was determined once authorities searched the Airbnb and found all of his belongs inside, signaling the devoted church goer never made it back to his rental. “All of his stuff was found at the Airbnb. He never made it back there,” another sister, who didn’t want her name revealed, said.

In another chilling discovery, California authorities said Emilio's rented white Nissan Frontier was spotted by a license plate reader in Colton, California, which is roughly 13.2 miles north of his Airbnb in Moreno Valley, and then never seen again. His sisters have grown suspicious of Emilio's former church.

Given the fact that its members were Emilio's closest friends for the last 23 years, they find it odd that people in the group have not offered to help in the search. “Emilio is a very good person, and he doesn’t deserve this,” his sister said. “Anybody with information please come forward and please help us find him.”

The family has suspicions about members of Emilio's former church (KTLA)

Emilio's sister says the business man devoted the last two decades to his church, His Way Spirit Led Assemblies, whose constituents worked at Emilio's former pest control job Fullshield Incorporated.

The exterminator decided to leave both the church and Fullshield behind for a fresh start in April. He subsequently moved to Nashville to reunite with family. “He was really happy. He was ready to start his new life… turn over a new leaf,” Jenny said.

The following month, Emilio took a trip back to his former home of California to open a satellite office for his pest control company in Nashville.

The man told Jenny "he was going to go out to recapture some of his clients.” Emilio seemingly began stepping on Fullshield's toes as the company served him a letter in May, demanding he “cease and desist from … disparaging derogatory and defamatory actions which are interfering with my client’s contractual and financial relationships," according to KTLA.

The letter ostensibly threatened legal action as Fullshields attorney's said the matter was "of the utmost importance" and Emilio should watch out before continuing his business venture. The warning came two weeks before his disappearance.
