Lori Vallow Daybell, the so-called "Doomsday Mum," has been extradited to Arizona and booked into jail on a murder and two conspiracy to commit murder charges.

The move comes after the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said they wanted to extradite Vallow back to Arizona in connection with the death of Charles Vallow, as well as an alleged conspiracy involving the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux, who was the husband of Vallow Daybell's niece. Police say Vallow Daybell conspired with her late brother, Alex Cox, who shot and killed Charles in 2019 and they also allege Cox shot at Boudreaux but missed.

Vallow Daybell appeared before Judge Tracy R Nadzieja dressed in an orange Maricopa County Jail outfit for a hearing that lasted about three minutes. The judge explained the charges and then Vallow Daybell asked if the two cases will be handled separately or together. She is not eligible for bond and her next hearing is scheduled for December 7 at 8:30 am.

Judge Nadzieja told her: "They are two separate cases but they will be handled at the same hearing. They are two separate cases so you would have two separate proceedings going forward as it goes to trial."

Vallow Daybell will be housed at the Maricopa County Jail following her incarceration at the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center since August when Judge Steven Boyce handed three life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole for the murders of her children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, seven, as well as her husband's first wife, Tammy Daybell, 49.

The autopsy revealed Tammy had died of "asphyxiation" said to be "at the hands of someone else." Tylee and JJ's remains were found on Chad Daybell's property in Salem, Idaho, in the summer of 2020. Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed an extradition warrant allowing Arizona officials to temporarily take custody of Vallow so she can face the other criminal charges.

According to a statement provided to by the Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone, deputies in Arizona travelled to Idaho to pick Vallow Daybell up in a vehicle as weather created complications to have her travel by air. Mr Penzone said: "On November 30, deputies arrived back in Maricopa County just after midnight.

"Suspect Vallow was booked in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office ITR facility. This is one example of the exceptional, understated and efficient operations conducted by the Extraditions Detail of MCSO. Suspect Lori Vallow will stay in the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The Maricopa county Attorney’s Office will assume prosecution of the allegations. Pursuing criminals and bringing them to justice is what we do, and we’re very good at it."
