November's Black Friday sale may be over but Apple fans can still make the most of rare discounts in the lead-up to Christmas, especially if you're on the hunt for its tiny trackable gadgets. Yes, one retailer is offering the cheapest price we've seen on a set of AirTags.

The Bluetooth trackers have risen in popularity for on-the-go tech users, you simply pop the gadget in the zip of an item or on a keyring to track its every move. Once synched up to your iPhone or iPad the coin-sized devices then let off a personal network when in close proximity, which will ping nearby users and the location can then be shared with you - a simple, yet effective gadget for everyday use.

  • Get Apple AirTags for the cheapest price we've spotted - £95 for four

Apple isn't the only brand around, as Samsung Galaxy Tag or Tile tags are just as effective, but the Apple gadgets seem to come with a much higher price tag. Until now, we've found a £24 price cut on the standard set of four.

Amazon has reduced the price from £119 to £95, working out to be £23.50 per AirTag. It has also dropped the price of the individual AirTags from £35 down to £29, but as you can see buying the bulk pack of four works out to be cheaper per item. But you have to be quick, as any major Apple fan will know, this small deal is unlikely to stick around for long.

Not only is it because Amazon's November prices are slowly coming to an end, after the whirlwind of Black Friday, but Apple very rarely reduces the initial prices of its products, so finding a separate deal is often hard to come by. Instead Apple is known for handing out shopping vouchers to those who buy big-ticket items like a brand new iPhone 15 or Apple MacBook Pro (M3 chip) - we're yet to see when or if these come in for Apple Store shoppers this year.

A quick look at other Apple stocking retailers and it seems Amazon's £24 price drop is the best (at the time of writing) around. As Currys is selling the pack of four AirTags for £104, £15 cheaper than Apple, and heading to the checkout at O2 would cost you £109.

Why we recommend the Apple AirTags

AirTags, Tile, and Galaxy Tags are all pieces of tiny tech brought out by Apple, Samsung and Tile as an extra tech accessory but having tested a few for ourselves here's why we recommend Apple AirTags, especially if you use an iPhone.

As we shared in our recent review, we compared the AirTag and Tile tag while tracking our bags at the airport. Starting with our first standout point which is Apple's AirTag app, our reviewer said: "On both the Tile app and Find My app I could see straight away where our bags were and how long ago they were in that location. Although one brand came out on top with its location map… the AirTag.

"It’s a small detail but when looking for an item in what I can imagine a frantic situation (if you’ve lost something) you’d ideally want a tracker that shows its location on an ‘easy-to-use’ map, something Tile is slightly behind on. Apple’s Find My app gives off a much more generalised area than Tile, you can see nearby restaurants, shops and services as well as a small blue dot for where you are on the map in relation to the tracker.

"As well as an arrow pointing in the direction, all thanks to its ultrawideband tracking."
