Nigel Farage is seeking Nella Rose's approval despite their numerous clashes, claims a behaviour and communications specialist.

The latest I'm A Celebrity clash occurred after the campmates began discussing the pronunciation of the word “water” in a Patois accent. Farage claimed that if a white person were to say the word in that accent they would be accused of "cultural appropriation".

Nella told the GB News host that it "depends on the context" and whether you're "mocking" a culture but Farage insisted he didn't "know what the rules are".

Neuro-coach and behaviour and communications specialist Nicole Greenfield-Smith has revealed there are signs the camp is splitting in two after Nella and Farage's clash. “Nigel’s language was revealing. He repeatedly referred to ‘they’, ‘e.g. ‘They criticise when suits’, ‘They call it cultural appropriation’ – without ever specifying who.

“This subtle generalisation is divisive as Nigel’s implying an ‘us versus them’ situation, pitting himself against anyone who disagrees with him. This goes against the collaborative ethos of the camp so far. By not genuinely seeking to understand, his comments come across as criticism, which Nella later described as ‘disappointing’ given she felt she and Nigel had been ‘vibing’ recently.”

“What was fascinating is Nigel’s reaction after their debate, when Nella had been told she was chosen for yet another bush-tucker trial. Nigel again lamented the benefits of ‘25% more airtime’. Although Nigel came into the jungle saying he was happy to be loathed, he was evidently after Nella’s approval and kept trying to re-establish their bond with chit-chat, smiles and touching gestures.

"Although she didn’t dismiss him verbally, her body language said it all. She angled away from him, shrugged him off and sat next to someone else. Interestingly, the campmates are talking more about Nigel’s politics - with Nick, Josie and Danielle all now disagreeing with him behind his back.

"Could they join Fred and Nella in openly challenging his controversial opinions? Now they know there’s safety in numbers, it’s significantly more likely.”

Farage and Nick Pickard take on the Bushtucker Trial on Wednesday after Nella Rose was ruled out at the last minute on medical grounds.
