Hailey Bieber has told fans she had PTSD after suffering a mini-stroke last year.

The wife of singer Justin Bieber, 26, was rushed to hospital in March after a blood clot in her brain caused her to suffer stroke-like symptoms.

The Rhode Beauty founder revealed she 'couldn't speak' during the terrifying experience and has now opened up about the ordeal in the Run Through With Vogue podcast.

"I struggled with a lot of anxiety after. I struggled with a little bit of PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] of just like the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again," Hailey explained.

"It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again. I mean, it was so terrifying, so jarring, so discombobulating in every single way that you could imagine."

Hailey added that even if she is "open to talking about the experience if it could help somebody else" - it was still "really hard to talk about".

"Even the [Telling My Story] YouTube video that I had made for my YouTube channel was hard for me," she admitted.

"It brings back the feelings for me of going through that experience. It gets easier, and easier with time to be able to talk about it.

"I'm just really grateful that I was able to have had amazing doctors, and nurses, and people that helped me get to the bottom of what actually happened."

Hailey went on to say she has slowly begun to enjoy life again without the anxiety of worrying about what may happen in the future.

"I look back at it and it could've been so much worse. So many worse things could have happened in that moment," she mused.

Back in March, Hailey told fans she'd suffered 'one of the scariest moments she has ever been through' following reports she had been rushed to hospital.

The model confirmed she'd received urgent medical attention after experiencing 'stroke like symptoms'.

Doctors later discovered Hailey had a blood clot on her brain, which caused a lack of oxygen.

The skincare guru took to Instagram recalling how she started experiencing 'stroke like symptoms' while having breakfast with her husband Justin.

The star said she was taken to hospital where doctors found she had suffered 'a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen.'

Hailey revealed she'd been told the cause of the clot was down to a combination of side effects from birth control pills, Covid-19, and a long haul flight.

Subsequent tests revealed the daughter of Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin had a grade-five patent foramen ovale (PFO) - the largest category of a hole in the heart - which had enabled the clot to escape through her heart and travel to her brain. Emergency surgery was required to repair the problem.
