A late clairvoyant, whose predictions have included the 9/11 attacks in New York and Brexit, believed some of the most terrifying forecast are set to happen in just 20 and 43 years.

Baba Vanga, real name Vangelia Gushterova, was nicknamed the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' for her bizarre claims. She lost her vision at the age of 12 and claimed that at the same time she became aware that she was given her a very rare gift from God to see into the future. She predicted the universe will end in 5079 and has supposedly revealed incidents in the years in between.

She claims to have known about the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the September 11, attack in 2001, the death of Princess Diana, and the Chernobyl disaster and was said to have got 85% of her predictions right. Right before her death at the age of 85 in 1996, she said 2021 will be the year a cure for cancer is found.

But one of her most terrifying forecasts supposedly warned that Muslims would invade Europe in a 'great Muslim war' which would end with the establishment of an Islamic caliphate by 2043, with Rome as its epicentre. She also said that this would mean the US would invade Italy in 2066.

She also thinks that within the next 200 years we will have made contact with aliens. She predicted: “Life in cosmos will be discovered, and suddenly it will be clear how life on Earth first appeared," adding "people will get in touch with their spiritual siblings from other worlds".

Baba Vanga added: “The world will suffer from a lot of cataclysms and great disasters. The consciousness of people will change. Difficult times will come. People will be divided by their faith. We are witnessing devastating events that will change the fate and destiny of humanity."
