I’m A Celebrity will be airing later than its usual slot tonight as the drama continues to kick off.

So far this week in the Australian campsite - which is filmed in Springbrook National Park, near Murwillumbah, New South Wales - has seen its fair share of drama. Following Nella Rose ’s disagreement with Fred Sirieix, where the Belgium-born social media star fumed at the 51-year-old French maître d' after he innocently quipped that he was old enough to be her father, Nella was then slammed by viewers for “sucking positivity” out of Sam Thompson during Friday night’s episode.

and took part in a trial, aptly named the Touchdown of Terror, another gruesome challenge inside the 'Scarena'. In a bid to boost Nella’s confidence ahead of their difficult task, Sam attempted to give the star some encouragement. However, it didn't go down well with , who complained that she found Sam overwhelming. She took the reality TV star to one side in the camp, telling him to be calm as fans complained she was being "patronising" before walking away.

But it’s not just Nella who has come under fire in the camp. Nigel Farage has found himself in hot water for appearing on the series, seeming to cause a significant drop in viewings compared to the 2022 ITV series after thousands of fans vowed to boycott the show.

The inclusion of the Brexit campaigner and politician Farage prompted ITV bosses to hold crisis talks about the future of the series. They made their feelings clear on social media, where #BoycottImACeleb was trending on X, formerly known as twitter, last Sunday night.

Of course, it’s not the first time a politician has appeared on the series. Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock was also featured in I’m A Celeb, and for some fans, Farage was the final straw.

Now, seemingly thanks to the drama surrounding viewing figures, the show will be aired at the later time of 9.30pm tonight, instead of its usual 9pm slot. Nonetheless, we can’t wait to see what antics the campmates bring.
