Joshua Jackson disputes separation date from Jodie Turner-Smith amid divorce
Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith can't agree on the date of their official separation, court documents obtained by The Mirror revealed.
When petitioning for a dissolution of marriage with children, Jodie identified their date of separation as September 13, 2023. However, Joshua claimed in his response that they didn't separate until September 30, 2023. The pair were able to agree on their date of marriage, August 18, 2019. Joshua and Jodie also both cited "irreconcilable differences" in their relationship as the reason for divorce.
Additionally, the pair jointly requested to share custody of their three-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson. Joshua made a request that neither party pay child support.

An insider told Us Weekly they were "baffled" by the split because the couple were "glued to each other" since the beginning of their relationship. They added: "They seemed so devoted to each other, so everyone is shaking their heads."
Two insiders told the publication that the decision was led by Jodie who did file the initial petition. The source said: “They had their issues, as many couples do — especially two busy actors who are also juggling a child. Joshua obviously didn’t realise it was this bad, that Jodie was this unhappy.”

Jodie shared a message not long after the divorce went public. She posted: “Everything heals and grows when it is loved well. People, too.”
“An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything someone does,” a second quote she shared read. “A healed person understands that actions of others has absolutely nothing to do with them. Each day, you get to decide which one you will be.”
