I bought this 'cosy' North Face down jacket at its lowest ever price from ASOS

If there’s one piece of clothing that’ll get you through the gruesome winter, it’s a North Face jacket - and luckily, ASOS has slashed the price of this stylish puffer in its huge Black Friday sale.

The ASOS sale sees 15 per cent off several North Face jackets, however the online retailer is treating customers to even bigger savings by offering an extra 20 per cent off with code FRIYAY. Thanks to the deal, I was able to snap up The North Face Hyalite hooded synthetic puffer jacket for £122 instead of £180 - so it's safe to say I'm delighted.

The cosy jacket is loaded with 550-fill of responsibly-sourced down and while it may be thick, it’s extremely lightweight so it won’t weigh you down on your winter walks.

Thanks to its lightweight design, this coat packs down super-easily too which is great for those hot flushes on the tube (IYKYK) and it'll also keep you dry thanks to being made with water repellent fabric, and its handy hood.

ASOS shoppers can still bag the jacket in all sizes, ranging from a UK XS (4-6) to a L (16-18), however the XL has already sold out - so you better act fast if you're hoping to get your hands on the winter warmer at its lowest-ever price.

The jacket has received plenty of five-star reviews from shoppers online, with many praising its ‘great quality’ and ‘warmth.’ One delighted customer said: “Great jacket I wear pretty much everyday and on all sorts of trips. I love how functional and light it is whilst still being super warm.”

A second added: “I love this jacket, worn it for 3 years now. It's lightweight, but keeps you warm. The only thing is that it runs a little small, so I'd say size up for a nicer fit.”

While a third said: “Bought this as a winter coat and whilst being fairly lightweight it always keeps me warm. Has two deep inside pockets as well as the zipped external pockets.”

As mentioned in the review above, the jacket also features two handy zipped pockets, and internal pockets to keep your items safe and hands nice and warm. It also goes with absolutely everything from jeans and a jumper to dresses and jumpsuits.

One thing to note is that some shoppers claim it 'comes up a little small,' so if you're after an oversized fit, it may be worth going up a size, especially if you're wanting to throw on a thick cosy knit underneath.
