Real Housewives star gets 'car crash' facelift at 47 leaving husband in tears
The Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury and her husband Sergio Carrallo documented her recovery after a facelift in a video shared on social media this week.
Caroline, 47, and former footballer Sergio, 29, shared a joint post on Instagram on Thursday which included footage of them in the days following the procedure. It included a clip of Sergio seeing his wife for the first time after the facelift.
"I'm actually really scared but can't wait to see her," he said ahead of visiting her in hospital. Footage appeared to then show Sergio seeing Caroline after the procedure, with him writing about it: "I was shocked. The hardest thing to see."

She was seen wrapped up in bandages and held his hand at one point. He wrote about it: "One of the hardest moments of my life."

He said in the post's caption: "Seeing the person that you love with all your heart suffering and in pain how she was .. it was very hard. As a husband I will always support her and be here for her and as much as I was against it, she really wanted to do it. So, I was there for her, supporting and helping her day to day. I am very proud of you and I just seeing how happy you are with the result, it makes me very happy."

This included Sergio discussing it having been "very bad" on the second day. He said she was experiencing swelling and couldn't "really open her eyes". He then added: "The first two nights were horrible. We didn't sleep and she had a lot of pain."
Caroline was seen laughing as she continued to recover on a subsequent day and another clip teased small stitches being removed from her face after five days. She said later in the video: "[Sergio] said my skin is too smooth [now]."

He said: "We've been through like crazy stuff." Caroline added: "Hell and back!" Sergio continued: "[Now] she's starting to look normal."
Later in the video, Caroline was seen showcasing the results of the procedure after seemingly having staples taken out of her face. "Still a bit stiff but I look good," she teased in a clip. The reality TV star added: "My skin feels amazing."
Sergio wrote at the end of the post's caption: "You look absolutely beautiful [Caroline] the only problem, now … I am the oldest in the relationship!" He also expressed gratitude towards a doctor for "taking the best care" of Caroline.
Caroline spoke about the aftermath of the procedure on her podcast Uncut and Uncensored, which is understood to have been filmed just days after the procedure. According to the Daily Mail, she said: "I looked like I'd been in a car crash and the car definitely didn't win."
She added on the podcast: "Hardest thing I've ever done." Caroline however reportedly teased that she was hopeful that she would look "a lot more like [herself]" a few more days into the recovery, seemingly prior to the final entry in the vlog.
