I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'s first look shows the Home and Away team take on the 'Touchdown of Terror' challenge.

In the upcoming episode, Home team's Nella Rose and Sam Thompson are up against Away team's Grace Dent and Nigel Farage. They're seen attempting to try and release American footballs while wearing a helmet of disgusting critters. They place their hands in a box filled with creepy crawlies.

The clip showed Nigel getting a touchdown while the Home team struggled to grab a football. Nella was seen unscrewing one of the balls but accidentally dropped one on the floor. An undeterred Sam said: "Go again!" as he encouraged her to continue. While trying to complete the challenge, worms started crawling out of the helmet and down their shirts.

Any fear of critters and bugs had to be put aside in order to win the challenge for the entire team. All the other campmates sat on the bleachers and cheered on with foam fingers.

Meanwhile, Nella and Fred Sirieix recently teamed up for a challenge as they put their spat aside. The popular YouTuber, 26, took volunteered to take part in a challenge called Slam Dunk'd before the First Daes star, 51, offered to join her on Thursday night's episode.

They took it in turns to dunk their opponents in an ice tank and score points, with Nella and Fred later discovering they had won the challenge by four points. The pair exchanged high fives during the competition and shared a hug at the end of the challenge. It came days after Nella, who has lost both her parents, said she would not speak to Fred or eat the food he prepares in the jungle after he remarked he was old enough to be her father.

In the Bush Telegraph, fellow campmate Danielle Harold said: "They’ve been quiet, not talking for a couple of days. I think this will bond them even closer, for sure, I hope." The pair, representing the Home camp, competed in the head-to-head challenge against Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes – the Away camp – hours after the 10 campmates were split into two teams.

Nella, who compared Fred to basketball players Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, said: "I think we were an absolutely great team, I think we smashed it." Winning the challenge put the Home camp, coached by new arrival champion jockey Frankie Dettori, in the lead in a race to win a luxury breakfast.

However, viewers at home were left confused as they questioned if they had "missed a scene" due to Nella suddenly being pally with Fred despite vowing to "not be friends" with the First Dates star. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "Have Fred and Nella had a heart to heart or did she just start talking to him ? #ImaCeleb", a different account put: "So Nella seems to have just miraculously forgot that she said 1) she’d never eat the food Fred made 2) speak to him in the camp again #ImACeleb" while another added: "When did Nella and Fred become friends #ImaCeleb #Nella?"
