Ronan Keating in furious backstage clash with TV co-star after snide remark
Ronan Keating was involved in an 'awkward' confrontation on The Voice Germany after being blasted as 'b****y' by another coach, according to inside sources.
The Boyzone star had 'words' with brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz backstage over their attempts to win over contestants after being criticized for 'acting badly' during filming. The alleged altercation left the Tokio Hotel bandmates "annoyed" and has reportedly created quite a stir on The Voice's brightly coloured set.
The Irish singer joined the panel of the Sat.1 TV show in June, after previously mentoring on The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK. Ronan, who has also appeared as a judge on The Voice Kids UK, reportedly 'had words' with Bill and Tom backstage, after being accused of 'acting badly' by the German pop rock band. It's been said that the tension stemmed from competition to secure acts, after the judges became "territorial" over their desired contestants.

"They’re all very competitive about the acts and they want the right people to turn in the chair for them," they explained.
It's understood that things got "tense" over the showbiz rivalry, which culminated in a backstage altercation between Ronan and Bill off-screen. Viewers also got a hint that the 46-year-old singer wasn't happy with the show's scores, after sulking on camera over the loss of his artist, Anne Mosters, to Bill's singer, Marc Allergott. "I am unhappy. That is crazy. That is not OK," Ronan grumbled in response to the defeat.

Ronan was reportedly called a rude word by another judge on The Voice (ITV)This isn't the first time that the former X Factor Australia judge has clashed with his fellow coaches. In October, he clapped back at Giovanni Zarrella when the Italian opera singer asked him in German if he had a chance of securing an auditioning star after refusing to turn around for them.
"To be honest with you Gio I had more chance and I didn't even turn," Ronan retorted, causing the audience and judges to erupt into laughter. The show shared the clip on Instagram with the caption: "The Coaches are giving out! #tvog."
Ronan has spoken out in the past about his early struggles on The Voice Australia, which he joined in 2016 alongside Jessie J, Delta Goodrem and The Madden Brothers.
"It was intimidating," he told Stuff magazine. "I was inexperienced and not knowledgeable on how the game is played. I was a little bit scared about pressing the button. You don't have to pitch in The X-Factor, because the format's different. It's more about nurturing the talent on The Voice. I was sitting on a panel with experienced coaches. I had to learn very quickly how to pitch and how the whole thing works."
