Samantha Faiers has been living in hotels with her young family for more than a month after renovation plans to her family home threw her life into chaos.

The 32-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star is a proud mum-of-three, sharing seven-year old son Paul Jr, six-year-old daughter Rosie and one-year-old son Edward with boyfriend Paul Knightley, 35. But the TV star has now been at home for over a month and has instead been living out of luggage and moving around hotels.

Sam and Paul are said to be renovating their £2.5 million home, which has left them essentially homeless while workmen sort out their building. And the pair are reported to be borrowing friends’ washing machines so they can keep the clothes of their young children clean and fresh.

According to The Sun, Sam and Paul have been living in “several hotels” since they moved out of their home in October. While Sam herself is quoted saying: "Into our fifth week living from a hotel. This is the fifth hotel. I'm actually living from baskets at the moment."

Sam could soon be leaving the UK, however, for a new life in the USA after launching her Revive Collagen brand across the pond. Her sister, Billie Shepherd, who also found fame on Towie, is said to be distraught at the thought of Sam upping and leaving her for a new life in the LA sunshine.

A source said earlier this month: "It's always been Sam's dream to move to the US," and "She loves it there the lifestyle, the sunshine and the people. It's got everything going for her. It's her ideal life. If this trip goes well, she hopes to move out there for good it's just whether she can make it happen logistically."

While a further source told OK! Magazine: "Of course, Billie will be upset and miss her they're incredibly close and Billie has always pictured their kids growing up together. But she knows how much it means to Sam, and she can always come back to visit, or they can fly out to LA for a holiday."

The source also added: "Sam doesn't want to be tied down to the UK and just thinks, 'Why not?' She's very career-minded and if she wants to do something, she'll do it."

Billie and Sam somewhat prop each other up in terms of remaining relevant to the UK celebrity circuit. They frequently feature on each others’ television shows - both having allowed cameras into their homes to document their lives as parents.

And they also co-host a low-brow podcast together, called The Sam & Billie Show, where they reveal even more details about their personal lives.
