Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo has the ghostbusters on speed dial and welcomed them in to perform an exorcism of her house after she was told three spirits are haunting her gaff.

Paranormal investigators told the 68-year-old beauty - who was married to rock star Ronnie from 1985 until 2009 - that there are multiple ghosts in her Grade II-listed farmhouse. Jo, who is now dating a 44-year-old toyboy chef, will appear on a celebrity episode of the Discovery channel’s Help! My House Is Haunted in early 2024.

In the course of the episode, the former model, who lives in Northamptonshire, will be told about the ghosts that are living in her home and viewers will see experts attempt to remove the spirits. While Jo herself has been encouraged by the TV filming process as she explained she had always suspected there was a force haunting her home.

The mum-of-four - and grandmother of 10 - has warned TV fans that they will be shocked by the evidence that is uncovered by the ghost hunters. And she explained that she is grateful to have received the help.

Opening up to The Sun, Jo explained: “I’ve always felt another presence which I couldn’t see or explain. But now my thoughts have been validated. It is certainly reassuring.

"What was uncovered was incredible – I know now why this house called to me. It’s good to know I wasn’t going bonkers!"

Jo has previously opened up about her experience with ghosts - telling reporters back in 2013 that she believed she had been visited in the dead of night by the spirit of her late uncle. The star recalled a spooky incident she experienced while she was preparing to participate in the seventh season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Jo told HELLO! at the time: “Shortly before my first Strictly Come Dancing show I fell asleep and felt this big thump on my bed. My whole body went cold and I sat bolt upright and said, very firmly, 'Go away and leave me alone!'

"I repeated it three times, just as my mum has always told me to. Mum is the seventh child of a seventh child and people like her are said to possess supernatural powers - she foresaw all my pregnancies.

"I told her what had happened and she said it must've been Uncle Reggie. Apparently, as a boy he was always banging the bed and he loved to dance, so we think he was paying me a visit before Strictly Come Dancing to show me his support."

Earlier this year, Jo gave fans a look inside her impressive farmhouse - which she has renovated so it is eco-friendly. Discussing her home with the Mirror in April, Jo said: “I knew nothing about living off-grid. The guy walked me around and said, ‘There’s solar panels up there and a generator down here.’ The house was very white inside, no character, and I thought, ‘It’s a blank canvas for me to do what I want and create something else.’”
