Dame Judi Dench, 88, accidentally Facetimed her co-star with no clothes on

Poor Dame Judi Dench accidentally FaceTimed her Bond co-star Ben Whishaw while she was stark naked.

The 88-year-old actress has a degenerative eye condition that has affected her vision. She said: “I can’t see at all. So my phone is an anathema to me... I don’t know what all those buttons are for.”

Her daughter asked her to send a message wishing her pal, actor Chris Logan, a happy birthday, while he and his friend Ben were going for a walk in Regent’s Park.

Dame Judi recalled: “I went upstairs... got into my bath... and I thought, ‘Ooh, I must send Chris Logan a happy birthday message’.

“I picked up my phone… and I said, ‘Chris... Happy Happy’... and I just saw these two people turn and go [gasp].

“It was FaceTiming them.” She told Zoe Ball on Radio 2’s Breakfast Show: “I don’t know about FaceTime… poor Chris... happy birthday.”

Dame Judi is actually pretty confident about being in the buff, and said that taking off her clothes was “heaven”.

She has previously said: “Swimming naked is very good. We have a pool and you can quite happily do it sometimes if somebody isn’t going to come around suddenly.

“I don’t want to be caught at it.”
