Billie Faiers breaks down in tears over her stepdad's health update after tests
Billie Faiers breaks down in tears on Wednesday's emotional episode of Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries.
In an exclusive clip obtained by the Mirror, it sees Billie, 33, have an honest chat with stepdad Dave Chatwood, also known as Chatty, about his health. It is explained that Chatty's blood tests were followed up by his GP and Billie has invited him over to know the full extent of what is going on.
Prior to Chatty arriving, Billie tells husband Greg Shepherd: "He can be quite in denial about things, dad doesn't want to know. When I rung him and asked about his results, he was like: 'Oh no, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine.'"
Speaking in a VT, Billie explains: "Dad's found out that his liver results are abnormal and after telling the doctors that he drinks a lot more than what he should do, daily, the doctor is concerned because they do think his health could be at risk.
"It kind of goes in waves. There can be weeks, months, everything's fine and then obviously there's times where it gets out of control. Having these tests are the first that we know are 100% legit. Like we know what he's been tested for" with Greg adding: "It's the first time we've seen the results because he never, he tells us he's alright, but we've never actually seen the results!"

Chatty then arrives as Billie and Greg talk to him, to which he says: "No, I eat healthy, it's just alcohol, innit?" with Billie asking: "You going to do anything about that, moving forward?"
Chatty insists: "Yeah, I'm going to try to, yeah, it's only when I'm stressed, I'll drink, so..." with Greg asking: "How many bottles of wine do you have a day? Be honest..." Chatty then admits: "Two bottles of wine a day, you know, I live on my own. I go down the pub for a bit of company and to, you know, have a chat and talk but you're actually drinking while you're chatting and talking. It's a lifestyle."
Billie's step-dad explains that his friends start at 10am and he was even receiving calls earlier from his pals in the boozer, asking for his whereabouts, to which Greg suggests: "You've just got to cut it back a bit. You can come round here, if you're bored, take up some hobbies. Fishing, cycling" as Chatty promises to do so.
Speaking in a VT, Billie says: "You know, obviously for us, as his family, we don't want to see him throw his life" to which she breaks down in tears, adding: "Sorry!" with Greg rushing to comfort his crying wife.
